Position Summary: The Fraud Analyst will be responsible for conducting assessments, analytics, monitoring, and reporting on fraud investigations and forensics. This role involves working within the policies and standards of Fraud Risk Management and reporting to the Head of Revenue Assurance, Risk, and Fraud.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare incident-based fraud reports.
- Plan and participate in investigations/assessments into fraud risks.
- Support Fraud Manager with investigation tasks, including evidence validation and documentation.
- Conduct day-to-day fraud management operations.
- Coordinate forensic requirements with relevant staff.
- Maintain confidentiality and communication protocols.
- Monitor corrective actions and preventive controls.
- Use statistical data for forensic audit investigations.
- Ensure compliance with fraud management policies and standards.
- Support the risk register updates.
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Management, Statistics, IT Systems, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Certifications like CFE are advantageous.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in fraud, risk management, or internal controls.
- Knowledge of mobile money or telecommunication fraud is a plus.
- Strong analytical, investigative, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple tasks.
Work Hours: 8 hours per day
