Job Title: Football Education Officer

Position Overview: The Football Education Officer will support the design, development, and implementation of youth football development curricula, ensuring alignment with the National football philosophy and best practices. The role involves providing training and support to coaches and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance football education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update football training curricula for various stakeholders.
  • Oversee the rollout and implementation of youth football development programs.
  • Create training materials and resources.
  • Provide training and support to coach educators and coaches.
  • Collaborate with experts and institutions for curriculum alignment.
  • Prepare reports on curriculum effectiveness and improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Physical Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of CAF B coaching qualification.
  • At least 3 years of experience in education and curriculum development.
  • Strong skills in curriculum design, program management, and educational resource development.
  • Understanding of football coaching methodologies and player development.
  • Proficient ICT skills.

Position Overview: The Talent Identification (ID) Officer will lead scouting teams, develop talent networks, and evaluate potential football talents to support elite development programs. The role involves coordinating talent identification events and maintaining accurate records of player profiles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and train suitable profiles for talent scouts.
  • Coordinate the identification and assessment of potential football talents.
  • Conduct evaluations of players’ skills and potential.
  • Report on talent acquisition and development strategies.
  • Collaborate with coaches, scouts, and stakeholders.
  • Organize talent identification events and trials.
  • Maintain a talent database.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, or a related field.
  • Certifications in football coaching or scouting are a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in talent scouting or player development.
  • Strong understanding of football tactics and player assessment.
  • Familiarity with FUFA’s football development structure and talent identification processes.
  • Proficient ICT skills.
