We are starting local production of animal feed in Uganda and Kenya to boost aquaculture and improve food security.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Managing Director of Uganda and the management team. This role involves coordinating incoming requests, managing calendars, and ensuring a well-organized office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming calls, mail, and dispatches.
- Attend to visitors and organize their logistics and travel.
- Coordinate calendars and events for the management team.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception and public areas.
- Support various ad hoc requests.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
- Proven experience as a personal assistant or front desk representative.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an international company.

De Heus Animal Nutrition is a prominent global animal nutrition company with a strong presence in Europe, Asia, and rapidly growing in Africa. Our new plant in Uganda will focus on producing fish feed for Tilapia farms, contributing to aquaculture development and food security.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a Production Lead to oversee daily operations, manage production schedules, and ensure quality standards. This role reports to the Plant Manager and is key to achieving our production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production operations and scheduling.
- Manage stock control and ensure accurate inventory records.
- Create and implement production schedules to meet client requests.
- Monitor production standards, resolve issues, and drive efficiency.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Agriculture, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production environment, including 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of feed milling machines preferred; ERP knowledge is an advantage.
