Role Summary:

As an Entry-Level Crop Scout, you will be integral to our agricultural operations by inspecting crops to assess health, identify pests, and monitor yields. You will report to the Technical Supervisor-Agronomy, providing crucial data to enhance crop productivity and farm efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning: Organize and schedule field inspections.
• Monitoring: Conduct weekly field visits, identify pests and diseases, and perform yield estimates.
• Recording: Collect and record data, provide recommendations, and communicate irregularities.
• Support: Assist with research, supervise casuals, and monitor trials.
• Quality Control: Ensure correct plant population, application of fertilizers, and minimal losses during harvesting.

Personal Specifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Agriculture.
• 0-1 year of experience in large-scale farming.
• Physically fit and capable of working in diverse conditions.
• Strong planning, computer skills, and a valid motorbike license.

Working Conditions:

• Field-based, involving exposure to various weather conditions.
• Requires physical stamina and flexibility in work hours.
