JOB DETAILS:

Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region including Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan. We are seeking competent, skilled, and experienced Direct Sales Executives to work in Uganda on behalf of our client in the telecom industry.

Job Purpose: The role holder will be responsible for merchant acquisition recruitment, relationship management, and the implementation of the overall merchant strategy across all Multi-National & Local Corporate companies, Point of Sale (POS) terminals, and POS software providers to scale up footprint and reach.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Merchants Acquisition – MNCs, Local Corporates & POS:

  • Deliver exceptional sales performance by identifying local companies to drive the Airtel merchant business.
  • Achieve daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual targets within the assigned segment.
  • Identify potential prospects, conduct physical visits, and pitches to ensure closure.
  • Ensure KYC due diligence of all prospects for compliance before tie-ups and follow through on contract closure.

Merchant Training & Relationship Management:

  • Train all tied-up merchants, including both owners and business handlers.
  • Manage relationships with all appointed merchants to ensure business growth and compliance adherence.
  • Conduct refresher trainings on key business developments and in cases of handler turnover at the merchant point.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with third-party providers to identify sales leads within the assigned segment and ensure closure.
  • Identify service gaps and escalate to support teams for corrective action.

Revenue Growth & Business Review:

  • Ensure all set-up merchant outlets across the country are active and operational.
  • Establish collaborative relationships with all tied-up partners for business efficiency.
  • Set clear sales objectives and value propositions for all merchant prospects.
  • Work with the team leader to track performance and provide timely reports to individual merchants.
  • Ensure all appointed merchants are well-branded and products are fully merchandised.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Proven sales experience.
  • Sound consultative selling skills.
  • Excellent networking and communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.

Role Overview: The HR Business Partner will work in a global environment, leading, developing, and executing the company’s sustainability activities to achieve their vision for a thriving, sustainable business. This role offers long-term development potential for someone eager to demonstrate their skills and experience in a fast-paced soft commodities environment.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Partner with business leaders to understand their objectives and challenges and develop HR strategies that support business goals.
  • Proactively identify organizational issues and implement solutions to enhance employee performance, productivity, and retention.
  • Assist in talent acquisition efforts, including workforce planning, recruitment strategies, and selection processes.
  • Support and contribute to employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work culture and enhance employee morale.
  • Assist in performance management processes, including documentation and tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR team members on special projects and initiatives as needed.

Mandatory Qualifications:
