Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, study, and collect data to determine costs of business activities such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labor.
  • Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided to determine effects on cost.
  • Compare standard costs to actual production costs through periodic reports.
  • Record cost information for expenditure control.
  • Estimate costs for new and proposed products.
  • Provide management with cost and profitability reports.
  • Assist in month-end close of the General Ledger.
  • Compile documentation on standard costs and company production costs.
  • Review product prices to ensure alignment with expected margins considering cost changes and market forces.
  • Conduct costing for special order products.
  • Prepare periodic costing and production reports.
  • Manage company costs against budget through cost center analysis.
  • Maintain an activity-based costing system for financial reporting and variance analysis.
  • Recommend and execute process improvement projects.
  • Educate operational and production teams on cost management.
  • Present financial forecasts for planning and decision-making.
  • Analyze new ventures’ financial performance.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide mitigation advice.
  • Maintain the cost accounting system and data accumulation systems.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in BBA, B.COM, or a related accounting field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and SAP BI.

  • Devise and execute strategies to meet collections targets.
  • Regularly review delinquent accounts and develop remediation strategies.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure efficient collection and recovery efforts.
  • Ensure up-to-date documentation and securities for non-performing and written-off portfolios.
  • Advise delinquent clients on payment options.
  • Implement remedial actions to minimize credit loss risk.
  • Participate in credit committee meetings for closer monitoring of accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with prudential and internal policy requirements.
  • Visit clients with delinquent loans to improve collections.
  • Follow up promptly on delinquent loans and initiate loss mitigation strategies.
  • Submit weekly collections reports and propose actions for non-performing loans.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Microfinance or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience.
