Summary of Work Environment:
Our kitchen is the heart of Java House, dedicated to producing safe and high-quality food for our guests.
Primary Purpose and Scope of the Job:
The Cook is responsible for preparing and presenting quality food that meets our stringent food safety requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present food items to high standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen.
- Ensure proper storage of all food items.
- Uphold quality control for all food produced.
Key Accountabilities:
- Deliver high-quality food consistently.
- Maintain the highest hygiene standards in the kitchen.
- Correctly store all food items.
Job Specifications:
Qualifications:
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changes.
- Strong listening skills and capability to work with minimal supervision.
Experience:
- At least 1 year of culinary experience.
- Competent cooking skills.
Special Conditions of Employment:
- Certificate in Food and Beverage Production.
- Knowledge of cookery and culinary arts.

Job Title: Waitstaff
Summary of Work Environment:
The Waitstaff role is crucial in ensuring excellent food and beverage service in a clean and safe environment.
Primary Purpose and Scope of the Job:
Provide attentive and efficient service to guests, ensuring a pleasant dining experience in line with Java House’s service standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Present menu options and provide suggestive selling based on customer preferences.
- Assist guests with menu navigation.
- Accurately take and deliver orders to tables.
- Present bills and handle payments promptly.
Key Accountabilities:
- Greet and seat guests efficiently.
- Ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables.
- Resolve any issues with food and beverage services.
- Properly manage company resources and stock.
Job Specifications:
Qualifications:
- Ability to work under pressure and long hours.
- Skills in upselling and informing guests about new menu items.
- Team-oriented and customer-focused.
- Strong planning and Point of Sale skills.
Special Conditions of Employment:
- Knowledge of the menu and products.
- A-Level Certificate or equivalent in Hospitality.
- Experience of at least six months in a similar food and beverage setup or equivalent skills.

- Good listening abilities and flexibility.
