Summary:
Join Educate! as a Field Operation Assistant Contractor and contribute to the success of our programs.

Performance Objectives:

Field Logistics Coordination (50%)

  • Process field requisitions in a timely manner.
  • Ensure timely disbursement of airtime for VIP boot camp implementation.
  • Account for advances per E! finance procedures.
  • Plan and disburse mentor stipends as per schedule.
  • Track and deliver field materials to mentors and YLs.
  • Lead VIP allocation and reallocation process.
  • Maintain and update mentor database.

Mentor Recruitment Oversight (30%)

  • Lead mentor recruitment strategy.
  • Ensure mentor list is up to date.
  • Track mentor numbers and drops.
  • Collect and document mentor paperwork.
  • Mobilize mentors for induction and onboarding.
  • Create and update mentor information on the sales force system.

Mentor Performance Oversight (20%)

  • Set up and maintain mentor performance tracking system.
  • Train teams on mentor KPIs.
  • Identify and support mentor training needs.
  • Provide timely mentor performance feedback.
  • Produce final mentor performance reports.

Mentor Help Line (20%)

  • Co-lead capacity building plan reviews.
  • Train trainers for POs and PCs.
  • Conduct quality checks for trainings.
  • Research and implement best practices for virtual capacity and training.
  • Coordinate resource needs and training schedules.
  • Run termly Youth Leaders training on ICT packages.
  • Address reporting challenges through coaching.
  • Organize capacity building trainings for Youth Leaders.
  • Create feedback systems to support skills gap development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business course with at least 3 years of professional experience.
  • 2 years experience in development work managing diverse teams.
  • Knowledge in finance and taxation.
  • Proficiency in Google suites and MS Office.
  • Experience in the East African education sector preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written communication, strategic, project planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Systems-oriented, high integrity, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
