Summary:
UBA is seeking a highly motivated Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to develop and implement financial strategies to strengthen the bank’s financial capacity. This role requires close collaboration with the Managing Director/CEO to continuously improve the bank’s financial position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee financial strategies and work plans.
- Manage and mentor the finance team.
- Monitor expenses and control costs.
- Achieve revenue targets and provide strategic support during audits.
- Prepare and present financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Key Performance Indicators:

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- At least 7 years of banking experience, with 5 years in a core finance role.
- Qualified accountant.
Skills/Competencies:
- Expertise in banking operations, financial laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage change and inspire teams.
