Job Summary:
Provide grassroots case management support to children with specific needs through case identification, assessment, registration, documentation, case planning, and implementation, including direct services, referrals, follow-up, and monitoring.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify children with protection concerns and update their status.
  • Conduct registration and assessment of children using the BIP process.
  • Develop and implement case plans with children, families, and CPCs.
  • Follow up and monitor children’s progress and needs.
  • Maintain standards for child participation, confidentiality, and data management.
  • Support community leaders and child protection committees.
  • Generate reports and share data in line with the information sharing protocol.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Diploma in Social Work, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or related fields.
  • Valid Class A Motorcycle riding permit.
  • Experience in child protection case management and working with refugee children.
  • Competent in information management (MS Packages, ProGres V4, SurveyCTO).
  • Strong communication skills and knowledge of the local language.

Personal Qualities:

  • Clean track record working with children.
  • Willingness to ride a motorcycle.
  • Team player, flexible, able to handle pressure, and previous work in nutrition or health interventions is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Reports to: Project Officer

Job Summary:
Implement Protection interventions and case management within the settlement and host communities under the guidance of the Project Officer.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and manage GBV/SGBV cases.
  • Provide psychosocial support for survivors.
  • Collaborate with legal officers for legal representation.
  • Conduct training for community structures and stakeholders.
  • Collect and assess data on project activities.
  • Ensure appropriate services for all survivors.
  • Submit timely reports.

Project Planning:

  • Ensure activities have approved work plans.
  • Submit work plans to the Project Officer on time.

Staff Management:

  • Ensure compliance with LWF code of conduct and child protection policy.
  • Report issues affecting community-based facilitators.

Financial Management:

  • Document complaints tools and maintain project documents.

Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting:

  • Conduct regular field visits to assess project progress.
  • Document changes and develop monitoring plans.

Education, Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • Diploma in Gender and Women Studies, Social Work, Social Sciences, Development, or relevant fields.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Project Management/Community Development programming.
  • Proven knowledge in community mobilization projects.
  • Valid motorcycle riding permit.

Special Skills, Aptitude or Personality Requirements:

  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to inspire and build capacity of staff.
  • Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent English language skills.
  • Proficiency in IT (MS Office, Internet).

  • Good team player and knowledge of the local language.
