Job Summary:
United Bank for Africa (UBA) is seeking a Branch Manager for Fort Portal. This role involves driving exceptional business performance through excellent customer service, sales, and transactional processing while establishing and maintaining positive customer relationships. The Branch Manager will also oversee the development and implementation of branch business strategies and plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Increase customer retention and growth through aggressive cross-selling.
- Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis.
- Establish effective relationships with new and existing customers.
- Build and motivate a high-performance team.
- Recommend product development based on customer feedback.
- Review and evaluate lending proposals.
- Ensure compliance with bank policies and guidelines.

Job Requirements:
- Education: A University degree; financial qualifications like CIB, IOS, CFA, ACCA, or an MBA are advantageous.
- Experience: 5-10 years in retail/private banking.
- Competencies: Knowledge of banking products, strong customer service orientation, excellent communication and leadership skills, and computer proficiency.

- Drive CX improvement initiatives and ensure compliance.
- Monitor process efficiency and provide customer experience reports.
