Overall Role: The successful candidate will work as part of our TAS team to deliver high-quality engagements and support clients through complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, valuations, and strategic investments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the preparation and presentation of proposals to prospective clients, showcasing our expertise and capabilities in transaction advisory services.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and completion of engagements.
  • Perform detailed financial analysis, including financial modelling, valuation, and forecasting, to support clients’ transaction decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A master’s degree or professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CFA, or CMA is preferred.
  • A minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience in transaction advisory, investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, financial modelling, and valuation techniques.

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree

Job Title: Assistant Manager – Tax Consulting

Overall Role: The successful candidate must possess in-depth knowledge of tax laws and be able to provide comprehensive tax consulting services to clients, represent them to the tax authority, and resolve client tax issues efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients during tax audits and investigations to efficiently and effectively resolve tax issues and disputes with the tax authority.
  • Prepare detailed clients’ ledger reconciliations for submission to URA.
  • Educate clients and prospects on tax laws, compliance requirements, and changes in regulations.
  • Supervise and mentor Associates, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Taxation or related field with a specific qualification in Taxation, e.g., Advanced Diploma or PODITRA.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA preferred.
  • At least 4-6 years of experience in tax consulting or accounting.
  • Proven experience in managing client engagements and resolving tax issues.
  • Strong understanding of Taxation Principles, Laws, and Regulations such as Income Tax Act, Customs Act, VAT Act, etc.
