Job Purpose:
The Applications/Software Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining both existing and new business application products. This role involves managing the complete application lifecycle from design to production, ensuring compliance with development standards, and engaging in rigorous testing and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and customize software solutions based on system needs and user requirements.
- Develop automated interfaces for core banking and other applications.
- Gather user requirements and develop software solutions.
- Perform technical analysis, documentation, and system testing.
- Interact with vendors to recommend data interchange formats and APIs.
- Investigate and recommend technology improvements and upgrades.
- Prepare system documentation and provide user support.
Person Specifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field. Certification in banking or a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years in software development with experience in various SDLC methodologies and languages (Java, Python, etc.).
- Skills: Proficiency in programming languages, database engines (Oracle, MS SQL), and knowledge of various operating systems.

Department: Mortgage & Consumer Banking
Reports To: Head Mortgage & Consumer Banking
Grade: HFB 6A

Job Purpose:
The Manager Bancassurance will drive the growth of the insurance business, ensuring alignment with the bank’s strategy, adherence to regulatory frameworks, and achievement of set targets. This role involves managing risk, developing new products, and enhancing customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Bancassurance strategy and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor branch performance, manage relationships with insurance companies, and ensure adherence to service agreements.
- Design and enhance insurance products, train staff, and manage the renewal of licenses.
- Handle disputes, improve staff knowledge, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Person Specifications:
- Education: Honors degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Quantitative Economics, or related field. Diploma in Insurance is advantageous.
- Experience: At least 4 years in insurance with expertise in underwriting, claims, or regulation.
- Skills: Strong networking, relationship management, leadership, and risk analysis skills.
