Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Cooperative Development from a recognized university.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ proven relevant experience in Administration, Finance, and Accounting.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge of accrual accounting.
  • Excellent knowledge of English, Ateso, or Kumam.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively, independently, and under stress.
  • Fleet management.
  • Solid work ethics, initiative, and result orientation.
  • Basic knowledge in Computer Accounting package is essential.
  • Experience with a cooperative society is an added advantage.

  • Knowledge in marketing cotton.
  • Commitment to market development solutions for rural poverty alleviation.
  • Strong analytical skills to collect, analyze, and interpret data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive mindset and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent work planning, training, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Passionate about improving the livelihoods of cotton farmers.
  • High standard of professional performance and integrity.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Strategic thinker with sound judgment.
  • Private sector outlook on development and comfort in developing private sector partnerships.
  • Excellent knowledge of English, Ateso, or Kumam.
  • Must have a valid riding permit.
  • Experience in cooperative management is an added advantage.
