Position Overview:
The Metropolitan International University (MIU) is seeking to recruit qualified and competent individuals to fill five Assistant Lecturer positions in the Faculty of Agriculture and Environmental Science. The positions are distributed as follows:
- General Agriculture (1)
- Animal Husbandry (1)
- Crop Husbandry (1)
- Environmental Science (2)
Core Functions / Responsibilities:
- Providing course outlines
- Managing coursework and planned assessment tests
- Preparing and delivering lectures, supervising, marking, and producing results on time
- Promoting knowledge of your subject and your original work
- Managing coursework results and final examination results at a preliminary level
- Implementing the university curriculum
- Adhering to coursework, test, and examination deadlines
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- At least a Master’s Degree in a relevant field for the Assistant Lecturer position
- Applicants on a PhD track will have a competitive advantage
- At least three years of lecturing experience in reputable institutions
- Good computer knowledge
- Excellent communication and customer care skills
