JOB DETAILS:
CONTRACT DURATION: THREE (3) YEARS RENEWABLE ON SATISFACTORY PERFORMANCE
Duty Station: The Internal Auditor will be based at the head office of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development, Kampala, Uganda, with occasional travel to project implementation areas/sites for monitoring or as and when the need arises.
Reports to: Senior Internal Auditor
Persons Specifications:
Qualifications:
- Possession of a Bachelor of Commerce, Finance, or Business-related degree is required.
- Possession of Master of Business Administration is an added advantage.
- Possession of full qualification in any of the professional accounting or auditing certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CIA, etc. is required.
- Proficiency in IT/MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Experience:
- At least 4 years of relevant work experience with donor-funded projects in the Government of Uganda in either the Accounting or Auditing Field.
