Job Responsibilities:
As an IA Precom Supervisor E&I at Seaowl, your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Industrial Area Superintendent South by ensuring contractor compliance with company and project standards related to Electrical and Instrumentation.
- Overseeing contractors/sub-contractors in Quality Assurance and Control, ensuring adherence to detailed engineering designs and specifications.
- Reviewing ICAPS status and performing gap analysis between MDR mechanical completion and company’s ICAPS system.
- Ensuring timely execution of tasks to meet mechanical completion objectives and avoid delays.
- Highlighting inconsistencies between pre-commissioning and commissioning sequences.
- Monitoring installation, testing, and calibration of electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Witnessing and participating in vendor site activities.
- Ensuring adherence to latest project drawings, specifications, and procedures.
- Reviewing and approving “As Built” & “As Installed” drawings.
- Participating in technical reviews and risk assessments.
- Collaborating with QA/QC personnel to address quality issues.
- Advising on sequencing and scheduling of work fronts.
- Assisting in resolving technical queries and maintaining good relationships with contractors.
- Ensuring compliance with HSE instructions and environmental protection guidelines.
- Preparing daily, weekly reports, and final documentation in your discipline.
- Ensuring proper communication with your back-to-back replacement.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualification: HNC or equivalent in a related discipline.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years in Oil and Gas and Petrochemical industry with expertise in construction disciplines.
- At least 5 years in E&I Pre-commissioning activities.
- Good knowledge of ASME and other international codes and standards.
- Awareness of Company’s General Specifications and/or experience with major IOC’s/Contractors in oil and gas projects.
- Valid authorized person/HV voltage preferred.
- Compex training is a plus.
- Significant responsibility in multi-discipline teams or projects.
Work Hours: 8 hours per day
