Job Details:

Duties:

  • Draft, implement, and maintain policies and guidelines on Environment, Health, and Safety.
  • Develop, implement, administer, and maintain EHS/S protocols on the use of PPEs and adherence to safety and health-related programs.
  • Review and update the corporate EHS/S management system manual and monitor its implementation.
  • Prepare and implement the EHS/S training plan in coordination with the Human Resource Department.
  • Formulate corporate short-term and long-term EHS/S objectives and plans.
  • Conduct accident and incident investigations and submit relevant reports.
  • Promote EHS plans, monitor, evaluate, and report performance against the plan.
  • Maintain auditing expertise and ensure execution of monthly/quarterly audit programs.
  • Maintain contacts with external parties regarding environment, health, and safety, including government institutions.
  • Provide advice on environment, health, and safety to line departments.
  • Adhere to health and safety and QMS guidelines at all times.
  • Compile EHS data and report all incidents/accidents accurately and within the specified time frame.
  • Participate in implementing the corporate EHS/S strategy and objectives.
  • Provide expert advice on EHS/S matters to management.
  • Manage all HCV/HCS within and outside concession.
  • Perform any other duties as may be determined by the company/management from time to time.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Management, Engineering, or Industrial Chemistry.
  • Possession of Environmental Management Certification is an added advantage.
  • Good organizational, planning, and presentation skills.
  • Good understanding of occupational health and safety legislation.
  • No specific job experience required.

Work Hours:

  • 8 hours per day

Level of Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
