Position: Data Collection Enumerator (16 Positions)

Job Summary:
USAID is seeking 16 Data Collection Enumerators for an upcoming project in Uganda under the Africa Trade and Investment Activity. Enumerators will conduct phone interviews to gather crucial data on agricultural practices and outcomes for the annual report.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understand survey objectives and align data collection accordingly.
- Participate in training sessions to grasp survey instruments and ethical guidelines.
- Conduct phone interviews using digital survey tools, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards throughout the data collection process.
- Report issues promptly and collaborate with team members to meet project goals.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, statistics, agriculture, economics, or related fields preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years in surveys or data collection, familiarity with local communities and languages.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in digital data collection tools (e.g., ODK, KoboToolbox) and database management.
- Language Skills: Fluency in local language(s) and English/French.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and cultural sensitivity.
- Availability: Full commitment to the data collection period and related activities.
