Job Summary:
SEMA, a dynamic not-for-profit organization based in Uganda, is seeking two talented Creative Designers to join our team. As a Creative Designer, you will be instrumental in crafting visually compelling designs that support our communication, marketing, and reporting efforts. You will work on a variety of design projects across print, digital, and multimedia formats, enhancing SEMA’s brand identity and effectively conveying our message.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Creation: Develop creative concepts and designs for marketing materials, reports, presentations, and social media visuals. Create engaging branding materials, including logos and typography.
- Digital Design: Design website graphics, banners, user interfaces, and create digital illustrations and animations.
- Project Collaboration: Work with the communications team and other departments to fulfill their design needs.
- Software Proficiency: Use design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, XD, After Effects, and Premiere Pro to produce high-quality designs. Stay updated on design trends and software advancements.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in design.
- Strong visual communication and design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to handle tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and a solid understanding of branding and visual identity.
Working Conditions:
- Office environment with occasional overtime to meet deadlines.
- Full-time position (40 hours/week) with potential weekend activities for conferences or meetings.
- The role requires a high level of creativity and attention to detail.
