The Elisabeth & Amélie Fund prioritizes academic excellence and focuses on practical projects in the field of water management, preservation, or enhancement of water quality, and access to water. The fund supports students undertaking studies in:
- Master’s Programs
- Bachelor after Bachelor’s Programs
- Master following Master’s Programs
Benefits
Successful applicants will receive:
- Funding of up to €5,000: This covers all expenses related to the internship, including travel, lodging, and specialized supplies necessary for the project. However, general-purpose devices like laptops, touchpads, cameras, and dictaphones are not covered. The scholarship may also fund specialized tools needed for the internship, such as multi-parameter probes and GPS, and on-site assistants as specified in the application.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Elisabeth & Amélie Fund Scholarship, applicants must:
- Nationality: Be citizens of one of the developing countries (OECD-DAC countries outside Europe).
- Enrollment: Be currently enrolled in a Master’s, Bachelor after Bachelor’s, or Master after Master’s program at a university or Haute Ecole in Belgium.
- Internship: The internship should complement the student’s end-of-year thesis research and be related to the theme of water.
