Asaak is currently seeking experienced, talented, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic professionals to join the team as Sales Representatives.

Job Purpose:

The Sales Representative will be the main point of contact between the business and its customers. The role involves ensuring that current customers have the right products and services, identifying new markets and customer leads, and pitching to prospective customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Present, promote, and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers, especially boda products.
  • Follow up on customer leads through cold calling.
  • Prepare and submit monthly sales reports, including customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential new products and services.
  • Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules.
  • Conduct research on potential service providers’ products or services and determine the geographic location of target customers.
  • Map out and segment sales efforts by studying existing and potential customers.
  • Canvass assigned territories to present company products to potential customers.
  • Review and recommend changes in products, services, and policies based on results and competitive developments.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Establish and maintain long-lasting relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Prepare and submit sales contracts for orders.
  • Provide relevant and conclusive responses to client questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability.

Person Specifications:

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team with minimal supervision and under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong negotiation, prospecting, and closing skills.
  • Good presentation skills.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of a diploma in business and marketing-related studies. A degree or higher is an added advantage.
  • At least 1 year of experience in sales/marketing of goods, services, or products.
  • Knowledge of MS Office software.
  • Ability to ride a motorcycle is an added advantage.
