Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with Pride’s policies and procedures, BoU guidelines, and other applicable laws and regulations.
• Work with staff to achieve set targets for the branch and maintain a Portfolio at Risk (PAR) rate not exceeding 1% for Group Lending and 3% for Individual Lending.
• Verify and supervise all branch transactions daily and ensure efficient customer service.
• Mobilize deposits and persuade individuals and firms to open accounts.
• Supervise, appraise, coach, mentor, and build the capacity of subordinate staff.
• Chair branch credit committee meetings and guide staff in professional loan appraisals.
• Manage staff leave in line with the master leave schedule and HR policies.
• Ensure prompt reporting and conveyance of funds to the treasury/local depository institution and Finance department.
• Ensure the safety and maintenance of branch assets and general administration.
• Maintain proper security over the Pride office, documents, and assets.
• Mobilize branch staff to recover written-off loans as per guidelines.
• Ensure daily backups of work are done.
• Ensure the safety of cash in transit to and from branches.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar or related position; internal staff should have at least 3 years of experience as a Branch Operations Manager, Relationship Manager, Compliance Officer, or 4 years as a Relationship Officer with good performance ratings.
• Result-oriented with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities.
• Good understanding of branch operations systems, processes, and business.
• Excellent networking skills and ability to build rapport.
• Innovative thinker with the ability to drive change.
• Not more than 40 years of age.

• Supervise cash operations and ensure high standards of customer service.
• Monitor and manage branch liquidity with up-to-date projection reports and ATM replenishments.
• Manage the performance, productivity, and development of unit staff per HR guidelines.
• Develop and adhere to annual branch budgets.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Banking Operations; internal staff should have good performance ratings in the recent 2 appraisal cycles.
