Summary:

Minimum Qualifications and Working Experience:

• Ordinary Level Certificate, Advanced Level Certificate, Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree from a recognized university/institution.
• Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre or a recognized institution.
• Experience as a Judge of the High Court or a court with unlimited jurisdiction in civil and criminal matters, or a court with appellate jurisdiction from such courts.
• Alternatively, at least ten (10) years of practice as an Advocate before a court with unlimited jurisdiction in civil and criminal matters.
• Distinguished jurists and advocates with at least ten (10) years standing.
• Relevant advanced/postgraduate qualifications, ICT qualifications, and additional work experience are an added advantage.
• Certificate of Enrolment is mandatory.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adjudicate cases within the jurisdiction of the Court of Appeal of Uganda in accordance with the Constitution.
