Vipers Complete Signing of Ndahiro and Angolan forward Sukuya

Vipers SC have completed the double signing of left back Derrick Ndahiro and Angolan winger Pedro Honjo Chimbiambiulo, alias Sukuya.

Ndahiro joins Vipers on a two-year deal from Rwandan giants Police FC. The industrious left back brings a ton of experience despite being only 24.

Before moving to Rwanda, he racked up over 80 appearances in the Ugandan Premier League. These were earned through brilliant stints at SC Villa and Uganda Revenue Authority FC.

Additionally, Ndahiro has featured six times for the national team, Uganda Cranes.

Sukuya joins the six-time champions on a two-year contract. The silky Angolan becomes the second signing for Vipers ahead of what is expected to be a big season for them.

Sukuya has been a perennial face in Angolan football with stints at Wiliete Sports Clube de Benguela SAD and Talentos De Benguele. Additionally, he featured for ANZ Desporto Angolano, Domant FC, and Petro de Luanda.

The 27-year-old is expected to boost a formidable Vipers attack led by captain Milton Karisa, which was firing blanks last season.

The Kitende-based side unveiled a new head coach, Serbian Nikola Kavazovic, on Wednesday. The Serbian journeyman also penned a two-year contract with the Kitende moneybags.

Nikola Kavazovic has his work cut out for him, with a return to Africa’s elite competition a priority. Obviously, this comes with winning either the league trophy or the Uganda Cup.

He will be assisted by Fred Muhumuza,Jose Estrada, Ali Kimera, Kato Ibrahim and Lule Michael.

However, the Serbian coach has a long hill to climb with a clear-out of over six first-team players expected.
