Summary

Malaria Consortium is seeking a qualified M&E and Research Officer to support the Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention (SMC) programme in Moroto, Uganda.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop M&E or research protocols and data collection tools.
  • Implement M&E or research field activities.
  • Collect and analyze M&E or research data.
  • Develop reports, presentations, posters, and articles for peer-reviewed publications.
  • Manage M&E or research-related projects.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Postgraduate diploma in public health, epidemiology, international health, international development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). A Master’s degree in a related field is an advantage.
  • Experience: No minimum requirements, but relevant experience in M&E or research, field activities, data collection and analysis, project management, and academic publications is preferred.

Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a District Officer to support the Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention programme in Moroto, Uganda.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of public health interventions at the district level.
  • Assist in planning, community engagement, and training for public health interventions.
  • Manage procurement and supply for public health campaigns.
  • Compile and assure the quality of project reports, research, monitoring, and evaluation data.
  • Conduct training and supportive supervision for public health interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or other technical qualifications in healthcare, nursing, public health, or a related field.
  • Experience: No minimum requirements, but relevant experience in public health interventions, planning, community engagement, procurement, report compilation, and training is preferred.
