About the Company:
The Bank of Uganda (BoU), Uganda’s Central Bank, has been operational since August 15, 1966. Although fully owned by the Government of Uganda, it functions independently from government departments. BoU works closely with the Ministry of Finance, Planning, and Economic Development (MoFPED) to implement monetary policies and ensure price stability across the country.
Job Summary:
The Bank of Uganda’s internship programme for 2024 will accept applications starting in July. The programme, divided into two intakes, will run from September to October 2024, with each intake lasting one month. A maximum of 50 interns will be accepted per intake, offering students an invaluable opportunity to gain experience in one of Uganda’s most critical financial institutions.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Minimum CGPA of 3.6
- Must be a continuing student
- Relevance of the course to Bank of Uganda operations
- First-come, first-serve basis
